These new Jigs cast like Bullets, great on light spinning tackle from the shore. we have had great fun catching Perch on these jigs dressed with a Marabou Tail and jigging them down the side of landing stages, Perch go nuts for them.
A simple way to tie these jigs for summer Mackerel fishing is to use Silver Mylar tubing. Cut a length approx. 40mm long, pull out the core and slide over the hook. Whip in place using Red Whipping Silk and varnish with CLEAR NAIL VARNISH. When dry, tease out the Mylar and use for Mackerel or Pollock. Cast and retrieve as fast as you can.
Dress with Blue and White Buck Tail ( Blue over White), we used these for Bass in the river at Shoreham last week and had 44 school Bass to 2lb (all returned).
